Official title: Liborio: An Artist of the Solomon Islands

Liborio Maemari is a painter, carpenter, and boat builder from the artificial Islands of Malaita, Solomon Islands. Liborio paints religious imagery for the Catholic Church along side paintings that represent traditional customs of the Solomon Islands. The documentary reveals the strength and vulnerability of Solomon Islanders and the traditional customs that have endured through the collateral damage of WWII, blackbirding, natural disasters, and now rising sea levels.
