The River Irwell in Salford has long been forgotten by its community due to its industrial heritage. Today it is mostly used as a dumping site, and viewed as a toxic stream of emptiness running through Salford, Greater Manchester. This film serves to challenge these perceptions, and celebrates the river as an important source of biodiversity in an urban environment.
