Birds of Peel Park*

Peel Park was one of the first public parks in the UK when it opened in the mid 19th Century and quickly became a very unique place for both people and nature in the City of Salford. This is the story of a park and its birds that withstood the full blast of Britain’s Industrial Revolution, and lived to tell the tale.
