Few cities have undergone such a drastic and complete makeover in such short order while successfully retaining its enduring spirit and allure. “Barcelona in Black” captures the essence of this beautiful and multifarious city by chronicling the 30-year metamorphosis from an anchored to the past industrial city of the 80’s, through the painful pageantry of its Olympic revival, into its current cosmopolitan modernity. Shot in time-lapse, this 8-minute film divided into three chapters, tells the story of these differing yet equally authentic versions of Barcelona.
