SEAN and JOANNE have arranged a dinner party for workmate SONNY and his girlfriend NICOLA. From the opening scene we know that Sean has been arrested. For what exactly is unclear. He remains silent with the police, unwilling to communicate any sort of defense. Whether it is guilt or something else brooding inside that compels him is unclear. Could Sean have done something during the dinner to his guests or even after when alone with Joanne? As the police investigation probes further into Sean’s life, he becomes more scared of the truth being revealed. What has Sean done to his guests? What has he done to his girlfriend Joanne? Perhaps mostly importantly, what has she done to him?
