Dear Robot, Dear Kitty

In her dying dream, bedridden Ann becomes a robot—but still cannot stop her beloved cat from falling again. She has long blamed her own sickly body for the cat’s death, and the dream replays that helplessness on endless loop. When she startles awake, she finds the cat’s spirit never left—it has been quietly keeping her company by the bedside all along. Ann finally reconciles with herself. In the spirit world, she and her cat are together forever.
