A couple near to a break up. Their only child discovers a secret about her mother and turns it into a drama. While the father continues his disastrous life and the mother tries in vain to reconcile herself with his son the boy turns his confusion into aggressiveness. After a day full of disappointments not only nothing has changed but everything is a little worse instead.
