Why is it edited with the pace of a soap opera rather than a short? Why is nothing foreshadowed? Jesus Christ there’s a montage! What do lingering shots of toilet bowls add to storytelling? Why insist on grotesque, unjustified violence when it can’t even be depicted convincingly? Boy meets girl. Girl murders boy. Audience shakes head in dismay. Awful.
