Hao Li’s RUN CAT RUN (2016) is a 2D animated comedy about an astronaut who switches bodies with his pet cat while in orbit. As everything goes wrong, the astronaut tries frantically to right the situation. Through a unique painterly visual style, Li adds a contemporary twist to all the most enjoyable and charming concepts of traditional animation.
