Amitava Bhattacharya’s “Red Olliende’s, RaktoKorobi” is the contemporary adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s “RaktoKarobi” Play. Mumtaz Sorcar is playing the role of Nandini, where as Shantilal Mukherjee is playing the role the king here Raja Sengupta. Raja Sengupta is a renowned theatre personality & political leader too. He decides to produce Tagore’s Rakto Karobi play for his next theatre production to portray the clash between his political & theatre persona. The story continues with different twist & turns. Different characters of “RaktoKorobi” will be introduced in a contemporary form accordingly to the screenplay. “RaktoKorobi”’s story will reveal both into the film as well as into the play like film within the film. Rahul is playing the character of Ranjan as Nandini’s love interest. Ushasi is playing Chandra, Rajesh Sharma is playing the role of Krishna Sardar, Kaushik Sen as Bisu. The story line of the film is apt according to now a day’s socio-political scenario.
