I had the pleasure of actually supporting a friend of mine that was apart of this documentary and I did not realize the trials and tribulations that foster children go through. I have had friends growing up that were a part of foster care and never imagined that it would be this way. This documentary was an eye opener to the cruelty that the children face. It also shows how there should be more legislation to help provide a safe environment for the children in situation to thrive and live a healthy life. This documentary gave a really vivid picture of the things that these children have to go through.

Having watched the premiere, I was deeply shocked that such situations could occur in a civilized society. Each scene in this documentary reveals the urgent need for a complete reform of the entire CPS. I hope this draws the attention of our leaders. IAM is a powerful call to action for a country that truly cares about nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

I was totally amazed at the quality of this film. It raises important issues about foster care in Arizona. Kudos to the women whose stories were told and to the folks responsible for putting the film together. I hope the film’s message gets to people who can make much needed changes to the foster care/group home system.
