That actress Ana Proulx is really great and was amazing to work with! Her scream reminded me of Jamie Lee Curtis. Few actors can channel that bone chilling scream in movies.

I am not a horror film genre lover, but I loved this film. Suspenseful, beautiful camera work and excellent choice to make it B&W. Good attention to detail, especially the end credit art. Nice job on this, I want to see more!

Incredibly artistic and creepy! Definitly has that old-school scary movie vibe and the black-white adds to the overall freakiness. I’m in love with how sinister it is. Darker is definitly one for a fright night! #scaredbutinagoodway

A great team of people involved with this project. This film is dark, something I enjoy in films. Especially love the ending credits – the use of color, line, and style is awesome. It’s clear that a lot of heart was put into this film.

This was very suspenseful and kept my heart pounding and wanting more! Really liked the opening scene when the male character entered the house, the interaction between the couple felt very real and not ‘acted.’ This was a great short film and very well put together – more please!

Loved the main character. I felt he was very convincing. Female on the other hand could use some more training to polish her craft (she wasn’t horrible, just not as believable) I loved the twist in the end. Loved the fact that it was black and white. I’m a HUGE fan of thrillers and this short film left me wanting to find out more.

Phenomenal job Gents! 🙂 Look forward to seeing more.

I enjoyed the short film. It was intriguing ,very detailed, suspenseful and I loved the girls scream lol I especially like the camera work. The most shocking thing of all is I’ve worked with you before so I know first hand how anal and detail oriented you are but this my friend was a pleasant surprise I didn’t know you held film making in your arsenal as well. Well done !

Well done. It’s rare that I get goose bumps with watching a film these days but Darker has the right amount of suspense and intrigue to pull the viewer in to elicit the feeling that makes the viewer feel as if they are actively participating in the film.
