Jurassic World Rebirth: Trailer and Release Info

Averaging over $1 billion are the worldwide box office over six films, it was inevitable that the Jurassic film series would return eventually. After Jurassic World: Dominion landed in June 2022, amassing another $1 billion worldwide, it was still a surprise that Jurassic World Rebirth would be next.

This was predominantly due to the timing of the announcement. It was first revealed by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment on August 29, 2024, that this colossal blockbuster would arrive in less than a year. The Deadline report pointed to a July 2, 2025, release date and its new title.

As it stands, there’s yet to be a trailer for the summer blockbuster primed to chomp through $1 billion once again. Luckily, fears of a major delay are subtly being brushed aside. Not only has the promo trail started to simmer up, but merchandise is starting to pop up all over the place.

Always a Hit for Merchandising, from Simulation to Slot Games

Jurassic Park and Jurassic World have long been among the highest-grossing media franchises in the world. The incredibly adaptable brand spans everything, from T-shirts to online slots. In fact, it’s in online slots at sites like Rocket Riches that you can see its continued development and evolution from Jurassic Park to Jurassic World.

Still live and playable, there’s Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Gold, which offers an official slot experience that draws entirely from the original trilogy. Then, there’s Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Raptor Riches. These games play with newer online slot mechanics while also tapping into the more contemporary blockbuster films.

They’ve all seen even more players pile in to spin with the hype for another Jurassic entry at cinemas ramping up. We can also see this in simulation gaming. Jurassic World Evolution 2, released in November 2021, saw a 24.7 and 7.9 percent increase in players on Steam from November to December 2024 and December to January this year.

Also feeding into this is its developers, Frontier, having already announced that they’ll be back with another in line with Jurassic World Rebirth. The official announcement reads that the developer’s best-selling game series will return in their 2026 fiscal year, with runs from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. So, it could arrive alongside the film.

More news building up to the rip-roaring new flick is also now bubbling up. Plenty of rumors as to the new merchandise and dinosaurs in the next film have seemingly been confirmed via concept art for a spinosaurus, Titanosaurus, and maiasaura, and writer David Koepp has mentioned the inclusion of a previously missed scene in an interview with Variety.

The Promo Trail is on, but Where’s the Trailer?

Universal Pictures have been rather sporadic with their timeframes for initial official trailers to eventual release dates. Where they stand on the first-look at Jurassic World Rebirth is unknown at the time of writing. It’s especially up for debate, with M3GAN 2.0’s official teaser coming out on February 3 ahead of its June 27 release date.

Jurassic World Rebirth is yet to get a teaser when its release date is 25 days sooner than that of M3GAN 2.0. It’s also presently in the bracket of having the shortest timeframe between Jurassic World’s official trailer and the Jurassic World release date.

The first film, Jurassic World, had 166 days between its official trailer reveal in November 2014 and June 12, 2015, release date. Fallen Kingdom gave more time to ramp up to its release as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2018, as we reported at The Monthly Film Festival, with 196 days between the December 2017 and June 2018 launch.

Finally, with all of the original cast coming back for a triple-slap of nostalgia, Jurassic World Dominion saw just 120 days between the February 10, 2022, official trailer reveal and the June 10, 2022, cinematic release. At the time of writing, there was a mere 119 days until Jurassic World Rebirth’s release.

Jurassic World will, once again, be a colossus of entertainment and merchandising when it returns this summer. As each day ticks by and fans await the trailer’s posting, those water ripples get bigger and bigger.
