An abandoned listening station from the Cold War period is the focus of the video MAN IN THE MIDDLE. During a 4-minute camera ride, aspects of the topic “surveillance” are presented in a media-reflecting way. The historical view on the remaining architecture is used to visualize surveillance as a global phenomenon that does not even stop in front of the viewer.
