In a style similar to the Hustle and Snatch, ‘The Con’ is a nine minute crime and gangster film, following the intelligent yet small-time con artist, Jack, who takes on a black market dealer to make his first big hustle. Jack is a small-time con artist; he is highly intelligent and loves a challenge. He uses his wit and charm to take from the greedy and treat himself to a luxury lifestyle. Jack decides to take on the greedy and arrogant Tony, a egotistical black market dealer. However, Jack’s naivety causes him to get caught in something bigger when Tony finds out who Jack’s father is. Jack is forced to turn to his father, Mr Dacker, a wealthy stockbroker, who refuses to help and wants nothing to do with him. Only Jack’s meticulous wit and creative mind will help him out of this situation and even that might not be enough.
